July 2014 is a significant moment in our history. On July 24, 2014, UpTime ERP was founded by three consultants with over a decade of experience in the SAP field. Take a look at how we’ve evolved over the past decade and discover our plans for the future.
From Idea to Implementation
The founders of UpTime ERP, Eryk Krysztofiak, Hubert Krysztofiak, and Maciej Kromolicki, after many years of developing their careers in large companies, decided to establish their own business. Their goal was to execute ambitious SAP projects with a higher level of complexity and to share their extensive business knowledge and skills gained in corporations in a more flexible format.
The current managing partners aimed to fill a market gap by providing clients with professional consulting services in a personalized form. Instead of relying on time-consuming procedures, they offered a partnership approach and faster problem-solving.
“We believe in honesty and reliability, which our clients and partners can always count on. We work flexibly, adapting to the individual needs of each client, and we build long-lasting relationships based on trust,” says Hubert Krysztofiak, Managing Partner at UpTime ERP.
The flexible approach to clients, which has distinguished UpTime ERP from the beginning, allowed us to replace impersonal “pending” support tickets with the assistance of a dedicated SAP consultant. The client’s account manager understands their needs from the outset and can respond quickly, providing professional support and building long-term relationships.
The Path of Dynamic Growth
This approach proved to be a perfect hit. In the first year of operation, the company hired three SAP consultants – Kasia, Jędrek, and Bartek – who are still with us today, leading increasingly advanced projects. Initially, our small team worked remotely and consisted solely of consultants.
As the portfolio of new projects grew and the team gradually expanded, in 2017 we moved to an office in Strzeszyn Grecki, which became our first shared workspace and a hub for team integration. From this point on, UpTime ERP’s growth accelerated exponentially. The increasing number of clients, friendly atmosphere, and development opportunities attracted more permanent consultants who enriched our portfolio with successful implementations and a growing range of proprietary solutions.
To provide everyone with a comfortable workplace and create an inspiring space for knowledge sharing, in 2021 the company relocated to its current headquarters at Ciechocińska Street 70. The new building fosters teamwork and integration across the entire team. We gained a space suited for organizing training sessions and brainstorming, as well as for enjoying shared lunches and afternoon gatherings at the garden barbecue.
Although the new office, with its surrounding garden, offers a comfortable environment for work and relaxation, we often spend time together in other locations. We go bowling, paddle on SUP boards on the lake, and take part in kayaking trips. These activities wouldn’t be possible without the engagement of the administration department, which was established in the meantime. This team takes care of the atmosphere and team integration by organizing events, trips, and celebrating important occasions. Currently, the administration department consists of five members, whose support has been crucial to our rapid growth. The back-office team handles marketing, employer branding, recruitment of new consultants and projects, controlling, sales, as well as technical support and efficient document flow. They have a dedicated space in the new office to collaborate on ongoing tasks while staying in close contact with management and consultants.
The story of our office relocations reflects the dynamic growth of UpTime ERP, which, over 10 years, transformed from a six-person entity into a mid-sized company with a solid market presence. The scale of our development is best captured by the numbers.
Over the past decade, our team has grown by more than 70 employees. The skills and dedication of our team are reflected in our results, which have also increased exponentially – since the founding of UpTime ERP, our revenue has grown more than twentyfold. We hope that, thanks to the passion and ever-increasing competencies of our team, the coming years will be just as fruitful for us,” says Eryk Krysztofiak, Managing Partner at UpTime ERP.
We Share (Not Just) Knowledge
In the meantime, we’ve confirmed our high level of expertise by becoming an authorized SAP partner. This partnership has given our employees even broader access to the latest technologies and expert knowledge through SAP’s dedicated training platform. At the same time, all consultants can take advantage of the subsidies introduced earlier by UpTime ERP for obtaining certifications and learning foreign languages, as well as access to our knowledge library and training sessions held at our company headquarters.
“Our goal is to build a hub of expert knowledge and best market practices that brings together talented SAP specialists who translate their high competencies into our clients’ success. Sharing knowledge is just as important to us as building relationships and creating positive experiences for our employees. That’s why we’ve implemented a comprehensive benefits system and offer numerous opportunities for team integration,” says Maciej Kromolicki, Managing Partner at UpTime ERP.
There are plenty of opportunities for team gatherings – the UpTime team loves participating in kayaking trips, yoga (including on SUP boards), company barbecues in the office garden, as well as in-house competitions and themed events.
We recently returned from a celebratory trip where we marked the 10th anniversary of UpTime ERP in style. We embarked on a journey through time to enjoy the ambiance of the roaring 1920s. At a charming guesthouse, whose location remained a secret until the end, we transformed into elegantly dressed ladies and gentlemen. Gangsters and stylishly dressed rascals also made their appearance, enhancing the atmosphere of the legendary prohibition era. We began with a lavishly set table and then dived into entertainment – playing roulette and poker, posing in the photo booth, and dancing on the floor until dawn. The trip also featured sports activities, where the entire team faced new challenges. The highlight was running through the forest with commandos, during which we once again proved that we are masters of special tasks.
Upon arriving in Poznań, we resumed our UpTime traditions. We gather for lunches and celebrate important occasions together, such as birthdays, Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day, St. Nicholas Day, and more. When we’re not working from the office, we relax in our UpTime apartment in Spain. The opportunity to take a vacation or choose a workation in the picturesque town of La Mata is one of the team’s favorite employee benefits.
“We are proud that over our 10 years in the market, we have created a stable, inspiring, and friendly workplace where everyone can spread their wings. As we enter our second decade, we have ambitious plans – we are expanding our service reach, targeting professional solutions for global enterprises operating on the international stage. We are also developing proprietary solutions that flexibly respond to market needs, such as KSeF from UpTime ERP. We have many exciting challenges ahead, so I warmly invite ambitious consultants who wish to grow with us to join our team,” concludes Monika Strzępa, Partner and Business Development Manager at UpTime ERP.
